João Mantas is a seasoned professional in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, holding a post-graduate degree in Management from ISCTE - INDEG Business School, Lisbon. With over 15 years of experience across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, João has built a robust career in strategic business development and operational management. João began his career at General Motors, working with the fleet team in Portugal. He then moved to the retail industry, first working for Midas, focused on Purchase and Data Performance monitoring and then joining El Corte Inglés, where he gained valuable experience in category management. In 2014, João moved to Teixeira Duarte Portugal, where he relocated to Angola and rose to the position of Commercial Director, overseeing the distribution of major International Brands. Since joining Daymon in 2016, João has been a key player in managing and expanding private brand portfolios for European accounts as well as in the region. His strategic insight and leadership have been pivotal in driving growth and innovation. In 2024, he assumed the role of Business Development Director for Middle East and Africa at Daymon International, focusing on sustaining and expanding Daymon's presence across various industries in the region.
