In 1958, Konak Chocolate and Confectionery Industry. ve Trade L.L.C. was established and started its production with chocolate. Tablets and chocolate bars, some of which were packaged by machines and some of them by hand, as many manufacturers did at that time, were sold in Istanbul and other cities of Turkey, which had a very low population at that time. At the beginning of the 60s, with the cooking boilers and packaging machines included in the production line sugar and chewing gum production started. Towards the end of the 60s, the first nougat was produced. The production capacity of nougat with nuts, which contributed greatly to the development of our company, increased rapidly with increasing mechanization.
