Since its inception in 1999, Egypt Foods Group has become a dominant force in the Egyptian snacking industry, deeply embedding itself in the culture over the decades. Committed to delivering high-quality snacks, the company launched its first product, "Kalbaz," a corn puff snack, in 2000, which quickly gained popularity. With 21 years of expertise, Egypt Foods Group expanded its portfolio from 22 initial products to 33, including notable brands like Wezo, Gero, and Choco Shots. In 2004, the company entered the potato chips market with "Tiger," which became a leader in the wavy chips segment. The portfolio further grew with the addition of pellets under the "Cono" brand in 2006, relaunched in 2019 to include a variety of snacks. By 2016, Egypt Foods introduced cake products, and in 2018, they added "Rusky," a unique baked bread snack, enhancing their market position as a snack leader in the MEA region.
