The “Mozartkugel” was first invented in Salzburg, Austria in 1890 by the pastry chef Fürst, who dedicated it to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and won a gold price at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1905 Schluckwerder Mozartkugeln consists of a core of marzipan and pistachio-marzipan, filled with smooth hazelnut-praline,covered with a layer of milk chocolate and a layer of dark chocolate
